On my way to Carbondale I traveled as fast as I could. Returning to Seattle I get to take my time. I moved out of my home and studio the first week of August but didn't have to be in Seattle until September. This fact could only mean one thing - ROAD TRIP. I volunteered for the Penland Auction, jumped off a cliff in Carbondale, ate snacks at the Appalachia Center for Craft and did the electric slide (albeit poorly) in Kansas City. I also swung by Nebraska to visit my sister who is just starting a PhD program in communications in Lincoln.
